Murdoch University

The veterinary program at Murdoch University has established a reputation for excellence. The BSc,BVMS degree program is accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC), the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and, in 2002, was the first in Australia to be recognised by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Council on Education. Murdoch University veterinary graduates are known for their practical skills as a result of our emphasis throughout the course on providing hands-on, experiential training that is greatly facilitated by our on-campus farm and accredited veterinary teaching hospital, The Animal Hospital at Murdoch University, which receives a strong caseload into its primary care and referral clinics. In one recent survey of employment outcomes >90% Murdoch veterinary graduates reported they were in full-time work.
