The UQ Veterinary technology degree is a leader nationally and internationally and combines theory, practical instruction and hands-on experience.
For the past 6 years we have been located on UQ’s Gatton campus which was transformed by a $140 million investment in purpose-built teaching and research facilities. Students and staff access an integrated site of animal production, health, and welfare teaching and research activities, set on 1000 hectares of rural land.
Clinical facilities provide specialist referral services for veterinarians and general services for owners of companion animals, horses, farm stock, exotic pets and native fauna.
